Previous Missions

Our annual London Tech Week mission was back in person in 2023 and did not disappoint. The program was curated for a group of NSW and QLD scaleups. With over 300 events across the city for London Tech Week, the group attended a variety of sessions, networking events and personal meetings meetings giving insights to help founders grow their business in the UK and European Markets. 

The Agtech Innovation mission to Peregian was our second mission for the Agfrontier Catalyst Program. This mission was for early stage founders and agricultural innovators starting out. They atteneded networking, site visits and workshops with successful founders and key innovation experts from South East Queensland. 

 

The Agtech Innovation mission to Brisbane was our very first domestic mission. The Agfrontier cohort was a group of over 20 agricultural innovators who were able to build out thier network and meet with other successful founders, expert mentors and thought leaders in the Brisbane ecosystem.

Advance Queensland partially funded the mission for agtech startups from Queensland. The schedule included meetings with Israeli entrepreneurs and investors, accelerator programs, startup hubs, and networking events. 

Our annual London Tech Week mission had streams for  startups, Government policy makers and investors, with over 300 events across the city for London Tech Week. We had 8 places funded by Advance Queensland and 6 places funded by WA Government for Aussie startup founders. 

This mission was specifically for female founders as part of London Tech Week. The mission included an educational program of workshops. We had 8 places funded by Advance Queensland for Queensland-based female founders. 

The Maker mission led 8 makers, educators, artists and engineers to the USA for a curated, exclusive access, immersive experience for all things rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing.

 

Our 2019 mission had 14 startup community leaders from accelerators, co-working spaces, founder groups, and Universities across Australia, visit their counterparts running accelerators, co-working spaces, and investor groups in the US.

Mission leader Steve Baxter led an immersive mission to Silicon Valley for Australian high-net-worths, investors and fund managers, connecting them with world-leading venture capitalists, angel groups and corporate venture funds.

Startup community leaders from across Australia who are managing or leading startup programs, hubs, accelerators, or other technology startup communities. The mission was funded by the AU Government, delivered by Austrade and led by Startup Catalyst.

Our 2018 mission for startup community leaders from accelerators, co-working spaces, and Universities across Australia, visited their counterparts running accelerators, co-working spaces, and investor groups in the US.

20 investors, startups, corporates, University faculty and public servants participated in our annaul mission to the UK for London Tech Week with over 300 events across the city. 

 

Mission to London specifically for female founders, the mission included an educational program of workshops. We had 10 places funded by Advance Queensland for Queensland-based female founders.

Every year we take twenty young (19-29) tech-savvy, high achieving Australians on a fully-sponsored two-week misison to Silicon Valley. Applications are received from across Australia, and are selected for their potential to be Australia's next batch of globally successful tech entrepreneurs. 

Advance Queensland partially funded the mission for 10 agtech startups from Queensland. The schedule included meetings with Israeli entrepreneurs and investors, accelerator programs, startup hubs, and also educational workshops and networking events. 

18 startup community leaders from accelerators, co-working spaces, founder groups, and Universities across Australia, visited their counterparts running accelerators, co-working spaces, and investor groups in the US, as well as the Aussie mafia.

A group of 8 Queensland startups, accelerator managers, and Government staff visited Europe for London Tech Week and numerous meetings with accelerators, co-working spaces, investors, and startup networking groups.
